Identify a stressful thought (e.g., “I’m not capable of studying properly”).
Question the validity of that thought (e.g., “Am I absolutely sure that this thought is true?”).
Reflect on the nature of the thought and how it makes you feel (e.g., “How do I react when I have this thought?”).
Consider who you would be without that thought.
Generate thoughts that are opposite the original stressful thought, and find evidence to support them (e.g., “I am capable of studying properly; I did it a few weeks ago”).
