The following learned by me researching this subject is hard to believe--but true.

Steven Spielberg--is arguably the GREATEST FILM MAKER, OF ALL TIME, EVER--thats right, EVER. Yes, he is obsessed with glorifying demons as cuddly ETs and all that. Total evil BS. However, no one makes movies more visually stunning and emotionally moving than Spielberg--Kubrick could at times surpass him visually--but not emotionally at the same time.

Here in the early 1980s the great Spielberg (Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, ET, Close Encounters) is not just discredited, he is looked on as a film industry leper for a mere 2 movies that flopped? Who the-F is this upstart Zemeckis to even treat Spielberg with disdain when he hadnt even done jack-s himself?
