I have known people who would say they did benefit from certain therapeutic approaches. Some approaches do not suit other people. If anyone feels they are being harmed by an approach or an individual, it's OK to 'walk away' or discontinue. This person describes it well.

Psychotherapy is evil quackery, and biased in almost every parameter as well as laughably anti science/rational - its a long list of infantile anti human and easily disprovable beliefs because it is Darwinist, mechanistic, dualistic social control system, much like big pharma is rooted in Nazi eugenicist Mengelism. I tried to do a masters in this joke of a subject misconstruction, and found myself from the first week arguing against almost every stupid mindeffing idea that it promulgates - aside from Skinnerian garbage, just consider that the 'foundational' theorists such as Hill proposed the strange meeting thesis, or that Bowlby took decades to conclude that mothers nurturing affects child development...?!!! Are these excuses for sentient's completely fucking braindead....! Note that almost every theory is prefaced with, 'Evidence suggests...', followed by a load of mind fuck ludicrousness, such fuckery could only come from chosennite reality subverting nihilism, courtesy of Fraud etc
